It's almost a never ending struggle I swear. One day I hope people will finally understand.
What It Really Means to Be Pagan

And it happens again!!
Once again, someone noticed our star my fiancé and I have in our apartment (it's a very small star, just a necklace actually) and immediately asked if we were atheists or devil worshippers.

Talking Down to Other Religions
It's common with anything. No matter what happens, someone always talks down to another religion.
Now then, I've known a few people who claim to be a witch, and when they meet somebody that is Christian or Catholic, even Atheist, they start to talk bad about their religion.
Why?
Because it's human nature to feel as if the choices you've made are the right one's. And if the people around you have chosen differently, then you want to talk bad about them. (Not everyone, but many people do this.)
It's not fun listening to other people talk bad about what you believe in. So why do many people do it, knowing they don't like it either?
It's just how people are. So what should you do when this happens?
-Don't argue with them.
-Don't try to fight about why they are wrong and you are right.
-Just listen to them, say ok, and excuse yourself.
It's much easier than arguing with them over a personal opinion. Nobody can help the way the feel about a certain topic. It's not their fault for not liking something, or not feeling the same way about something that you do.

Explaining Witchcraft to Non-Pagans
I'm going to be honest. It isn't exactly easy when someone that isn't a witch asks "well what is Paganism?"
Especially down here in the south.
Usually the typical description starts with "well...uh...it's not Devil Worshiping" or at least that's how it is here. Because that's how witchcraft is viewed here, as Devil Worshiping.
I try to always tell people that it's no different than their religion (which usually is Christianity) except for the fact that we have different gods and goddesses, as well as a different system for what happens when bad things are done.
Compared to Christianity, which uses the Ten Commandments as a guide for followers, Paganism has Karma. Instead of having to ask for forgiveness with prayer, we are responsible for what we do wrong.
Karma isn't only for wrong-doings, though. It also rewards those good-doings that we do. It's the Three-Fold Law.
Also when explaining it to others, I try to throw in at some point that spells are similar to prayers. One of the biggest differences would be usually when people pray, they are asking for something either for themselves or for somebody they know. While a typical spell is cast in order to say thanks to the gods and goddesses, help nature, or occasionally do selfish things, such as finding love or money. The last two are not wise to do a spell over, however. They can be bad, causing more harm than help in your life.
Other than those, there's not many differences that I can think of off the top of my head. If you come up with any, I will gladly use the advice.
Also, I'm posting a link to a book I read when I first started studying. It's a good sized book, but very helpful and stocked with information.

Paganism v Wicca
So, I've been sitting here, jobless and broke, with nothing to do. I have no money, no gas in the car, no job, and I just don't know what to do. My bills are past due and it just seems like everything is falling apart all at once.
I created another blog for Non-Pagan readers. It's http://keepyourrelationshipsteady.blogspot.com
Because not everyone is Pagan, some people would just like to see some advice and help from a person's point of view.
Now then, I wrote for a bit on Tumblr about Wicca vs Paganism. At which point someone commented that I was confused between witchcraft which is Wicca and Paganism which is an Umbrella term.
No, I am not confused. I understand Paganism is an umbrella term, but Witchcraft is not just Wicca. Wicca which has only been around since the 1950's as a religion. Before that, Wicca was not named.
Since witchcraft has been around longer than Wicca, you cannot say somebody is wrong for the term they use. As I've said before, thanks to Hollywood, Wicca is a misleading name. Therefore, I say Pagan to avoid the young people who think "Sabrina the witch or The Craft". When Hollywood is no longer glamorizing Wicca and making it appear as "read this and you can change your boyfriend into a hottie", then I will feel more comfortable saying Wicca.

Camping???
So went camping a couple nights ago. We went to this lake that is opened 24 hours.
Okay, not really supposed to camp there, but yeah.
Anyway, around 1:30 AM, two couples come up and being making love in the water. So it's me, my boyfriend, and our friend Khini.
So we're sitting there waiting on them to either finish or realize that there are three other people at lake. Finally around 2 they leave. Well we walk up to the bathroom, because there's no light so I had my boyfriend hold the flashlight. As we walk back, there's a voice that said "help, get out".
Okay, if you guys know any guys you will realize that they don't listen to anything that well. They insisted we stay. So we stayed.
Around 2:30 AM Khini goes "what the f***" and jumps back about 10 feet then throws a rock. Me and my boyfriend look right as a figure of a man disappears. Well Khini starts chasing it around, it keeps disappearing. It was weird.
Skylar even gets up at one point and chases it to see if he can see what it is. Around 3:30 AM it begins throwing rocks at us. We were all like "what is going on" and Khini comes back at around 3:45 and has three perfectly straight scratches on his leg. We walk up to the bathroom and clean it with some hand sanitizer since that is all we really have.
So finally everything calms down around 5 and around 5:30 the sun starts to come up. We couldn't sleep at all out there, so we just left and dropped him off then came home.
And I wanna go back :)

And this is what happens
Ok, I don't normally get upset with other people. I have a controlled temper and I can keep calm most of the time. But sometimes, people just make me so upset that I want to kill them. (Ok, I won't kill anyone, but still).
I know someone who will say many different things. From "I need to do this" to "They did this to me", whether it's true or not.
The reason I am saying this is because of the person I am talking about. I went and took my driving test today. I came back and was telling my friend, she's 22, that the place I went to is super nice and not difficult. They never take you over 25 mph and she begins to complain that 25 is too slow to go and she can't take her test at the place because she does not like it.
Ok, understandable. But then she says "The people there are really rude" and I knew this was not true. A woman comes in who has been working for the DPS (Department of Public Safety) for 15 years. She has been to nearly every DPS in the state and I asked her what she thought of her job. She said she liked it and that it was a lot of fun. She had worked with other stuff but decided that she was a "people person".
I told her about my previous experience at a DPS. I explained that the people were very rude and I told her which one it was. She says "Yep, those people up there are very rude and they don't care about their job at all. This is the best one I've worked at."
I know that this is just opinion, but this person is known for making things up because she doesn't want to do something. She will drive around without her license and not worry about it even though we have told her that it will end up with a very large fine and the car will be impounded. Now that I have my license, she has already said "Yay, you can take me places". I have had to make up stuff so I won't have to go anywhere, just because she uses people.
Her husband does not even care that all this stuff can happen. She has him literally by a leash and he will obey her every command no matter what it is. He's a good guy, but he won't listen to anybody about anything unless it is her.
Ok, well anyway, that's all everyone. I'm done ranting about this.
Blessed Be
